Electrical Utilities


 

The Electrical Utilities Services Division (EUSD) is composed of three service disciplines:

  • Power services

  • Telecommunication services

  • Utility solutions

Services

 

The EUSD offers full-fledged consulting services to power utilities and public telecommunication service providers, as well as private network owners. In doing so, the EUSD takes into consideration the requirements for deregulation, privatization and segmentation trends presently adopted in service provision. In offering its services, the EUSD utilizes state-of-the-art techniques that enable its customers to meet the highest standards while providing their services.

The EUSD offers total solutions including surveying and auditing, planning, engineering design, utility solutions, security vulnerability assessment, asset management, customer management system, operation and management consulting, database automation and development, and intelligent business services. EUSD's innovative staff ensure that all solutions are tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer.

Staff

 

EUSD engineers undergo continuous education and training programs to maintain up-to-date technical knowledge. This is accomplished through close cooperation with specialized university professors, technical institutes, attending conferences and seminars, and brainstorming with R&D experts of leading system vendors. This allows EUSD engineers to advance their technical know-how and improve their theoretical knowledge, as a complement to the thorough practical experience acquired while implementing awarded projects.

 


Software

 

The EUSD utilizes up-to-date software tools that permit interactive applications (SCADA, GIS, Digital mapping, Power, Telecom, etc.) to aid its customers well-beyond project completion. Engineering software is used for simulation, calculation and drawings production. The following software packages are used by the EUSD:

 

  • Power calculation software (CYME, ETAP, PTI, etc.)

  • GIS software (ArcGIS, ArcFM, ArcFM UT, etc.)

  • Communication software (Pathloss, Satmaster Pro, Cellular Expert, Starlink, etc.)
