Najib Khatib, PhD

Dr. Najib Khatib was elected Chairman of Khatib & Alami in February 2017, while continuing in his role as Chief Executive Officer, a position he has held since 2016. His leadership reflects a long-standing track record of achievements and impact across the company.

Since 2006, he has served as a general director and member of the board’s executive committee, leading K&A’s multidisciplinary operations and overseeing the Engineering Design Division. Earlier, from 2002 to 2006, he held the role of Deputy General Manager, driving strategic initiatives, expanding into new markets and sectors, and strengthening the firm’s regional presence.

Dr. Khatib began his journey with K&A in 1996 as a senior traffic engineer. Two years later, he relocated to the UAE to take on various project engineering roles, marking the start of an ambitious and ongoing leadership path within the firm.
