GIS Project Manager

Degree: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying

Field of Experience: GIS Project Management

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years’ experience

• Demonstrated experience in Project Management

• Knowledge in Geodetic Surveys and Water Distribution and WW Collection Networks

• Well-versed in the use of GIS Mapping Software mainly ESRI Product

• Excellent communication skills and ability to represent the organization in diverse forums

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

• Proficiency in spoken and written English; and Arabic

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepares project plan and sets the objectives for the project

• Provides independent advice on the management of projects

• Organizes the various professional people working on a project

• Conducts risk assessment

• Makes sure that all the objectives of the project are met

• Ensures the quality standards are met

• Conducts meetings to keep all parties up-to-date on the progress

• Monitors sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained

• Prepares project reporting, costing and invoicing
