Our Commitment to Digital Accessibility

Khatib & Alami is committed to making its website accessible and usable for as many people as possible and to providing equal access to information for everyone. K&A exerts all reasonable and continual digital enhancement to ensure that no one is excluded or treated unequally.

While our website is under on-going improvement, we would like to highlight our organization inclination towards implementation of, and compliance to:

Accessibility Laws: We continuously check for any needed improvements targeting to comply with related internationally recognized laws such as: The Equality Act (UK), The European Accessibility Act (Europe), The Disability Discrimination Act (AUS), and The Americans with Disabilities Act (USA).

Nevertheless, we openly welcome any suggestion which we take on board for future implementation, to all possible and reasonable extent and we work continuously towards achievement of new certifications in the related digital-web fields.

Transparency and Honesty:

We actively pursue to provide access, to a reasonable extent applied in our business industry, to our internal uncontrolled documents or internal policies, aiming to encourage honesty, transparency, and to show support for such values which have always formed part of our successful professional history and an essential pillar of our brand reputation.

We believe digital access supports inclusion. Our website is being designed to help visitors find information clearly, navigate content easily, and engage with K&A across devices, technologies, and user needs.

Accessibility Standards

We aim for our website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, with a focus on clear structure, readable content, keyboard navigation, screen reader support, and accessible visual design.

Conformance status: our website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA, meaning some areas do not yet fully meet every success criterion and remediation is ongoing (see “Known Limitations” below).

Our accessibility efforts include:

  • Clear page structure and headings
  • Keyboard-friendly navigation
  • Sufficient color contrast
  • Descriptive alt text for meaningful images
  • Accessible form labels and error messages
  • Captions or transcripts for multimedia content where applicable
  • Responsive design for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
  • Continuous review of accessibility issues as the website evolves

Ongoing Improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing process.

As we continue to update our website, we aim to improve usability, performance, and access across all key pages and content types, including Markets, Services, Projects, Insights, News, Careers, and Contact pages.

We also work to ensure that new website content is written, structured, and uploaded in a way that supports accessible browsing.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations currently include:

  • Third-party embedded content (job boards, maps, videos, social-media feeds) hosted and controlled by external providers, which may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA.
  • Some older PDF documents or legacy pages that have not yet been remediated for screen-reader compatibility.

We are actively working to identify and correct these issues as part of our continuous improvement process.

Third-Party Content

Some areas of the website may include links, embedded tools, maps, videos, or platforms provided by third parties.

While we aim to choose accessible tools where possible, we do not control the accessibility of all third-party platforms. We recommend reviewing the accessibility information provided by those platforms when using external services.

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our website.

If you experience difficulty accessing content, using a feature, or navigating any part of the website, please contact us and describe the issue. This helps us review and improve the experience.
