Traffic circulation was also reconfigured to ensure patients could be transported safely and efficiently throughout the facility. Changing the building’s function during construction required extensive architectural and engineering reconfiguration. Despite these extensive modifications, construction was scheduled for completion by August 2022—well in time for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
