Ibrahim (Abe) Saad

Mr. Saad currently serves as a Member (independent) of the Board of Directors at Khatib & Alami (“K&A”).

Prior to joining K&A, Mr. Saad was the Founding Chairman (independent) of the Board’s Audit and Finance Committee and a founding member of the Investment Committee of SIDARA (formerly, DAR Group), one of the world’s leading architecture and engineering consultancy firms.

Mr. Saad is a private equity and turnaround executive with 30+ years of experience across the U.S. and Middle East. He served as Chairman (MENA) of ACON Investments, affiliated with Texas Pacific Group, and previously chaired Global Investment House, leading a landmark restructuring that restored profitability. His earlier career includes leadership roles at The Carlyle Group, Allied Capital, and Booz | Allen | Hamilton.

Mr. Saad holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, with a concentration in Finance and Applied Economics, and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT. He is currently the Chairman of the ‘Engineering Advisory Council’ at New York University (“NYU”), Abu Dhabi.
