launched by Consolidated
Contractors Company
(CCC) to commemorate
his longtime achievements
and contribution to the
engineering fields.
Safety Achievement Checked
K&A celebrates 10 million safe worked
man-hours
Khatib & Alami (K&A)
celebrated 10 million safe
man-hours with no Lost Time
to Injuries (LTIs) achieved in
November 2017 during the
development of Yas Island
Golf Course residential
development (ANSAM) where
K&A was the project’s lead
design and construction
supervision consultant.
K&A marked this milestone
in an award ceremony
celebration, where the project
team received certificates of
appreciation for their valuable
contribution towards Health,
Safety and Environment
(HSE). Two certificates were
presented to K&A, one from
the client ALDAR Properties
PJSC, and another from
the PMC, M/s. EllisDon in
Dr. Alami received the sum
of 20,000 USD that he
donated to Birzeit University
Scholarship Program to
support academic excellence
and aid outstanding
engineering students. Senior
Manager of K&A’s Palestine
office, Engineer Bassam
Jawhary received the award
on his behalf.
Yet another celebrated
Certificate of Honor and
Distinction was presented
by the General Union of
Palestinian Engineers
(GUPE) to Dr. Alami for
his boundless generosity,
good deeds and significant
contributions to the
betterment of Palestine.
Mr. Mahmoud Abdel Aziz,
former Manager of K&A’s
Palestine office, received the
certificate on his behalf.
